Get ready for a fantastic ride along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, stopping at the ethnic minority villages of Ta Oai and Ba Co to learn about their rural lifestyles and enjoy their warm hospitality. After a long day of riding, you may choose to relax in natural hot springs. In the afternoon, we’ll wind our way through A Shau Valley, a ruggedly beautiful area known for its significance during the American War, particularly at Khe Sanh, where we’ll stay overnight. Before checking into our accommodations, we’ll visit the local museum and former combat base, infamous for being under siege for 67 days. We should arrive in Khe Sanh by 5 pm for check-in and an overnight stay.

Today’s ride is a unique opportunity. Thanks to special military permission, we will take the remote western branch of the Ho Chi Minh Highway through magnificent limestone karst landscapes and lush, old-growth jungle. You will be in awe of the Vietnam War’s historical significance as we traverse this original route, which passes through some of the most rugged and breathtaking terrain.

Awaken to the sounds of rural Vietnam. After breakfast, we’ll embark on a morning ride to Paradise Cave, famed as Asia’s longest limestone cave. Following a traditional Vietnamese lunch at the national park’s restaurant, you will have time to explore the cave systems. In the afternoon, we’ll ride to Dong Hoi, expected to arrive by around 5 pm, where we'll check into a hotel next to the ocean.

As we drive along the Ho Chi Minh Highway East, our first stop will be the Vinh Moc Tunnels, an underground village that sheltered residents during the bombings of the 1960s. After exploring the tunnels, we’ll head to a local beach to cool off with a refreshing swim.

We’ll then visit the 17th Parallel, which once divided Vietnam into two countries. By approximately 5 pm, we expect to arrive in Hue, where we’ll make a stop at the ancient Quang Tri Citadel. Afterward, you’ll have the chance to check into the hotel of your choice and conclude our remarkable adventure.
